EAST STROUDSBURG – Senior All-Americans Negus Graham and Lynn Mayer will look to defend their PSAC titles as they begin to conclude their careers for East Stroudsburg University at the 2011 PSAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, which begin on Thursday night at Slippery Rock.

Graham, the Men's Athlete of the Meet at the indoor championships after winning the 200m, 400m and 4x400m relay, is the defending champion in the 400 and 4x400 at the outdoor championships and will also move up to the 4x100 as the Warriors defend their PSAC title.

Mayer, who was named ESU's Senior Female Athlete of the Year at the Warriors' Athletic Awards Banquet, has won the last three PSAC championships in the high jump and is a five-time All-American.

Both athletes will take the PSAC's top marks in their events into the championship. Graham has the top time in the 400 (48.00) and the No. 2 time in the 200 (21.80), and Mayer has a mark of 5-8 1/2 in the high jump.

Junior Ian Melhorn and seniors Asher Ashfield and Greg Pammer will also be keys for the Warriors' men's squad, which has won the last two 4x100 titles at the outdoor championships and the last three championships in the 4x400 between the indoor and outdoor seasons.

Melhorn enters with the top time in the 200 (21.66) and is No. 3 in the 100 (10.75), and Ashfield has the No. 2 time in the 100 (10.66) and No. 8 time in the 200 (22.09).
