The two broadcasts, keystone victories of the Warriors' 4-4 season as they enter their final two games, are made possible through a partnership with the Pennsylvania SPORTSfever Television Network.
ROOT Sports, formerly FSN Pittsburgh, is available nationally on DIRECTV 659 and DISH Network 428. The channel is also carried by most cable systems in Pennsylvania, including Blue Ridge TV-11, Service Electric and Comcast.
The win over West Chester, on Oct. 6, was capped by the game-winning 33-yard touchdown pass from redshirt freshman quarterback
Matt Soltes to freshman wide receiver
Tim Wilson with five seconds left. Soltes set the school record for completion percentage (81.1, 30-for-37) and threw for 366 yards to earn the PSAC East Offensive Player of the Week.
Soltes starred again at LIU Post - this time setting an NCAA freshman record for total offense with 666 yards, 535 passing and 131 rushing. He repeated as PSAC East Offensive Player of the Week and was supported by six receivers with at least 50 yards for the first time in school history, and three rushers with at least 50 yards for the first time since 2001. The Warriors' 828 yards of total offense are a PSAC record.
The replay of the LIU Post game, originally scheduled for Tuesday, was postponed due to transportation issues. The West Chester game was added to the schedule on Wednesday. ESUhas had 16 games broadcast on STN outlets in the last six seasons.
