Ventrella profile

EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University junior two-sport athlete Lauren Ventrella is featured this week on the PSAC website, psacsports.org. Ventrella, a sprinter and hurdler on the track and field team and All-PSAC East selection in field hockey, will compete in the PSAC Indoor Track & Field Championships this weekend.

Ventrella led the Warriors' field hockey team with nine goals and 20 points in her first season as a starter this fall. On the track, she is the No. 4 seed in the 60m hurdles going into the championships at Edinboro. She is also a contender in the 60m dash and will contribute to the Warriors' relay teams.

Ventrella holds three school records in track - the indoor 60m dash (7.79), outdoor 100m hurdles (14.73) and indoor 60m hurdles (8.94), which she ran to win the PSAC championship as a freshman.
