Denny Douds.
2 • ESU faces Lock Haven at home for the 2nd straight year. The Bald Eagles moved to the PSAC East this year and take the place of LIU Post in the division's rotation. The Warriors opened 2012 with a 31-0 win over LHU as
Nate Daniels threw for 355 yards and 4 TD.
3 • The Warriors have an opportunity for their 7th season with 8+ wins in the last 12 years if they can defend Eiler-Martin Stadium in their final 3 games.
4 • Douds is tied for 3rd on the DII all-time wins list with 242 career victories, after a 43-26 win at Kutztown last week. Douds' 242 wins, also a PSAC record, are tied for 23rd in college football history.
5 • R-Jr. DL
Bryan Thomson, an All-American and last year's PSAC East Defensive Player of the Year, was named PSAC East Defensive Player of the Week for his performance at Kutztown. He had 13 tackles and 3.5 sacks, ESU's most since Brian Holkovic had 4 sacks at Kutztown in 2001. Thomson had a hand in 5 of ESU's 8 sacks at KU.
6 • Sr. K
Taylor Groff can set ESU's career records in kicking points and field goals this week. Groff has 285 career points (287, Mark Brubaker, 2002-05) and 48 field goals (50, Ed Detwiler, 1989-92).
