EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University senior forward Terrance King, last year's PSAC Tournament MVP for the nationally-ranked Warriors, is one of 16 candidates for the "State Farm Dark Horse Dunker" entry for the College Slam Dunk Contest, which will be held April 4 in Atlanta.

Warriors fans can vote for King, once a day, by "liking" and following the instructions at facebook.com/TKDunkContest. The first round of voting is February 11 through February 25 in a 16-dunker, bracket-style format.

The winner of the five-week competition will participate in the Denny's Slam Dunk Competition at the State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships in Atlanta on Thursday, April 4.

King is a four-year starter for the Warriors and has played in three straight PSAC Final Fours and two NCAA Division II Tournaments in his career at ESU. He is part of the winningest four-year class in school history.

King has 1,200+ career points, 600+ rebounds and 150+ blocks entering the second half of the PSAC East schedule for the Warriors, who are 20-3 and ranked #10 in Division II in this week's poll.

He was the PSAC East Freshman of the Year in 2010, an All-PSAC East selection in 2012 and the PSAC Tournament MVP after averaging 22.3 points and 11.3 rebounds in three games as the Warriors won the second PSAC championship in school history.

King has 78 in-game dunks in his career for the Warriors and is a four-time winner of ESU's dunk contest at Midnight Madness.
