Tannersville – The East Stroudsburg University Warriors football team, and Head Coach Denny Douds, this year's United Way of Monroe County Honorary Chair, will host The United Way of Monroe County at their last home game of the year on November 8th.  The Warriors host West Chester at 1:00 pm at Eiler-Martin Stadium, East Stroudsburg University, East Stroudsburg, PA.
 
East Stroudsburg University and the Warriors football program are proud to support Coach Douds in his role as Campaign Honorary Chair. All Warriors fans are encouraged to give as they are able on Saturday in support of The United Way of Monroe County, and the great work they do for individuals and organizations in our community.
 
During the game, UWMC will be selling raffle tickets for a 2015 Limited Edition Subaru Outback National Parks Blanket valued at $250.  The drawing will be January 2, 2015.  On game day, UWMC will be raffling off a NFL Stadium bag, which is filled with football sponsor items.  Further, there will be United Way LIVE UNITED mini-footballs and t-shirts given to the crowd by the Warriors cheerleaders throughout the game.  Several of the mini-footballs will be numbered; and, the person that catches a numbered football will receive a special prize by taking their football to the UWMC table set up at the entrance of the field.
 
Also appearing at the football game will be Ertle-Subaru of Stroudsburg, PA.  Ertle Subaru has chosen United Way of Monroe County as their local charity for the 2014-15 Subaru Share the Love event.  The event occurs from November 20, 2014, to January 2, 2015.  Subaru will donate $250 for every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased to the purchaser's choice of four national charities and the local charity, United Way of Monroe County.
