EAST STRODUSBURG - Sophomore guard Imani Brown had 12 points and seven rebounds to lead four players in double figures as East Stroudsburg University posted a 64-45 win over Chestnut Hill on the first day of this weekend's 51st Annual Pocono Classic on Saturday afternoon at Koehler Fieldhouse.

Junior forward Allison Howard had 11 points and seven rebounds, junior guard Rachel Falkowski had a career-high 11 points and senior center Michelle Boggs had 10 points for ESU (1-4), which will play Philadelphia University on Sunday at 3 p.m.

Jaeda Wildgoose had 17 points and 11 rebounds and Caity Kuhnen posted 11 points and seven rebounds for Chestnut Hill (1-2). Lauren Milligan had seven points, nine rebounds and seven steals.

ESU trailed 26-18 at the three-minute mark of the first half, then outscored the Griffins 46-19 over the final 23 minutes of the contest. The Warriors finished the half on a 12-0 run and won the second half, 34-19. ESU had runs of 16-0, 9-0 and 10-0 since late in the first half.

ESU made 12 three-pointers, its most since making 13 twice during the 2010-11 season.  Brown, Falkowski and Howard made three each.

Junior forward Madison Tamburini added eight points, seven rebounds, four assists and three blocks for ESU, and Boggs also had three blocked shots. Falkowski had four rebounds and four assists to go with her first career game in double figures.

Senior guard Melissa Poderis had three points, two rebounds and six assists and senior guard Tyeca Reviere notched two points, six rebounds and three assists.

ESU held Chestnut Hill to 30.6 percent (19-for-62) from the field and had a 29-22 advantage in turnovers.

In the day's first game, Glenville State (4-1), the top scoring team in DII, used a 38-point third quarter to post a 91-74 win vs. Philadelphia U (3-3). Paris McLeod had 19 points to lead Glenville State, while Bria Young had 18 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for Philadelphia U. Both teams put four players in double figures.
