Allison Decker finished sixth to earn a trip to the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships at the NCAA Atlantic Regional on Saturday at Lock Haven.
Decker and senior
Chelsea Conover (17th) both earned their second straight All-Region honors.
Decker will compete in the NCAA DII Championships on November 21 at Missouri Southern in Joplin, Missouri.
Junior
Alec Lederer gained All-Region honors for the ESU men with a 21st-place finish.
The Warriors' women placed fourth, one spot and 10 points from their second-ever team trip to the NCAA's and their best finish since placing third in 2003.
California won with 105 points, followed by Edinboro (112), Shippensburg (116), ESU (126) and Slippery Rock (130). Cal, Edinboro and Ship all qualify for the NCAA DII Championships.
ESU was the PSAC runner-up to Edinboro two weeks ago at Slippery Rock.
ESU's men placed seventh in the region with four runners in the top 50. Shippensburg (35 points), Lock Haven (41) and Edinboro (105) claim the three national qualifying spots, and Lock Haven's Dylan Mountain held off Shippensburg's Kieran Sutton for the individual title.
Decker is the ninth ESU women's runner to qualify for the NCAA's individually, combining for 14 NCAA spots. She is the fourth in the last six seasons, joining All-America Rose Mascoli (2010), Corinne Fitzgerald (2011) and Kim Wernerspach (2013).
She earned the region's final qualifying spot as the No. 3 individual finisher who was not a member of an advancing team. She is joined by Bloomsburg's Kate Dodds (2nd) and West Chester's Amanda Eisman (4th).
Edinboro's Ida Narbuvoll was the individual champion in 20:32.8, nine seconds ahead of Dodds. California's Julie Friend was third and Shippensburg's Casey Norton fifth to lead their teams to the NCAA's.
