EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University track and field athletes will compete in the PSAC Outdoor Championships at their home facility for the first time in 30 years as the Warriors host the conference meet on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Eiler-Martin Stadium.

The Warriors have six current athletes who have won PSAC championships in senior high jumper Christina O'Connor, senior sprinter Danielle Smith and senior thrower Elizabeth Madden for the women, and senior mid-distance standout Damien Boham, junior high jumper William Berry and sophomore hurdler Steven Morgan for the men.

O'Connor (women's high jump), Berry (men's HJ) and Morgan (men's 110m hurdles) enter as the defending champion in their events.

The meet begins Thursday at 11 a.m. with the multis (decathlon, heptathlon) and continues Thursday night with the women's 10,000m at 8 p.m., followed by the men's 10,000m at 8:45 p.m.

Friday, the multis resume at 10 a.m., field events begin at 12 p.m. and the track events kick off at 1:05 p.m.

Saturday, field events lead off at 11 a.m. and track events get underway at 12:30 p.m., continuing through 4:30 p.m. with the 4x400m relays.

ESU's men's team has placed in the top four in 13 straight PSAC Championships (indoor and outdoor) since 2009, including seven runner-up finishes - most recently the 2014 outdoor championships. The Warriors have won 41 individual events and nine relays in that span.

The Warriors' women have placed in the top eight in 31 straight PSAC Championships beginning with the 1998 outdoor season. ESU athletes have captured 23 individual and one relay title since 2009.

O'Connor has won four PSAC high jump titles, including three straight, and tied a PSAC indoor record (5-10) in March. She ranks No. 1 on the PSAC outdoor list at 5-8, tied for fifth in NCAA Division II. She is a three-time All-American, including this year's indoor season.

Smith has won an ESU record eight PSAC championships, including the 60m dash indoors this season. She has captured three career outdoor titles, winning the 100m and 200m as a freshman in 2012 and the 100m in 2013. She is a 20-time PSAC scorer, including 14 individual events.

Madden has two PSAC indoor titles in the weight throw (2013, 2014).

Boham has captured two PSAC individual titles and one relay title. He won the 800m indoors this year, following the 400m outdoors in 2013 - the first ESU men's athlete to win 400/800 titles since John Duda in 1934. He is a 17-time PSAC scorer (seven individual events, 10 relays) and a nine-time runner-up (three individual, six relays).

Berry is the defending PSAC outdoor champion and ranks second on the conference list this year at 6-10 3/4, tied for ESU's school record and tied for 11th in DII this spring. He has was runner-up in each of the last two indoor seasons and has placed in the top three in all five seasons of competition.

Morgan has two PSAC titles to his ledger, winning the 110m hurdles last year as a freshman, and the 60m hurdles indoors in March.

Morgan (110H - 14.44) and graduate student Jack Rosenstein (hammer - 182-0) both have PSAC-leading marks for ESU's men's team entering the championships.

In addition, Morgan leads five ESU men's 110m hurdlers who rank in the conference's top eight. ESU has won 57 total points in the 60H, 110H and 400H in the last three PSAC championships.

O'Connor is coming off a 5-7 3/4 mark in the high jump at the Penn Relays last weekend, the only non-DI finisher in the top 10. She hit her season best (5-8), tied for her career best outdoor mark, at ESU's All-American Meet on April 18.

Smith has the PSAC's No. 2 time in the 200m (24.88) and No. 3 time in the 400m (56.79), along with the No. 9 time in the 100m dash (12.45).

Freshman Keneesha Jones is rated third in the 100m (12.16) which she ran at ESU two weeks ago.

Morgan and Rosenstein lead the way for ESU's men with their conference-best marks. Sophomore Ronald D'Eliseo (53.29) is ranked No. 2 in the 400m hurdles and junior Derrick Washington is No. 3 in the 400m (48.60). Both are on the 110m hurdles list as well.

Berry ranks No. 2 in the high jump as he looks to defend his outdoor title. He was the runner-up indoors in March.

Senior Casey Ciaston enters No. 3 in the discus (158-11) and placed second in the PSAC last spring.
