PSAC Tournament preview (Friday-Sunday)

EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University remains No. 1 in this week's NFHCA Division II coaches poll entering the PSAC Tournament, which will be held this weekend at Whitenight Field.

ESU (15-3), the defending PSAC and NCAA Division II champion, is the PSAC's No. 1 seed and will host the semifinals (Friday) and championship game (Sunday).

All six teams in this week's PSAC Tournament are ranked in the NFHCA Top 10.

ESU will play in the second semifinal on Friday vs. the winner of Tuesday's first-round game between No. 4 seed Millersville and No. 5 Bloomsburg.

No. 2 seed Shippensburg plays the first semifinal Friday vs. the winner of No. 3 West Chester and No. 6 IUP.

The updated NCAA Division II Atlantic Region rankings, which will be used to select the region's three representatives in the NCAA DII Tournament, will be released Wednesday.

The NCAA DII Tournament selection show will be held on Monday (3 p.m.) on ncaa.org.
