EAST STROUDSBURG - Graduate student Travis Toth (weight throw) and senior William Berry (high jump) will represent East Stroudsburg University at the 2016 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships this weekend at Pittsburg State University in Kansas.

Toth and Berry will both make their fourth career trips to the NCAA DII Championships between the indoor and outdoor seasons.

Toth (Newfoundland, Pa./Western Wayne) will compete Friday at 2:10 p.m. local time. He is ranked 11th on the weight throw list at 62-11 1/4, a mark that he hit at ESU's DeSchriver Invitational on February 6.

Toth will make his second NCAA appearance in the weight throw and fourth overall. He was All-America with an eighth-place showing in the hammer during the 2014 outdoor season, placed 11th in the weight indoors in 2014 and 13th in the hammer outdoors in 2013.

He redshirted during the 2015 season before returning to the Warriors this winter. He won his third career PSAC championship and second in the weight throw with a mark of 60-7 1/4 on February 27 at Edinboro.

Toth will compete against a field of 16 that includes 10 athletes (all ranked in the top 12) who have previously competed at the NCAA Indoor championships in the weight. Four athletes have been first team All-America (top eight). The top mark of 73-6 3/4 belongs to Darien Thornton (Grand Valley State), a three-time All-American and last year's runner-up.

Toth's career best (63-7 3/4) was hit at the Millrose Games in 2014 and ranks second in school history.

Berry (Magnolia, Del./Caesar Rodney) will compete Saturday at 2:15 p.m. local time. He is tied for 4th on the high jump list at 7-0 1/2, which he cleared at Kutztown on January 15. He is the first seven-foot high jumper in ESU history.

Berry will make his second NCAA appearance indoors and fourth overall. He was second team All-America with a 10th-place finish outdoors last year, and was also a national qualifier during both the 2014 indoor and outdoor seasons. He was tied for 9th indoors in 2014, but just the top eight placewinners were recognized as All-America.

Berry won his third career PSAC high jump title and first indoors on February 28 with a mark of 6-9 3/4, clearing the height on his third and final attempt.

Berry is one of six athletes in the field of 16 who have previous NCAA experience in the high jump (indoors or outdoors). All of the returners will be making at least their third NCAA appearance, led by four-time national champion Jeron Robinson (Texas A&M-Kingsville), who has the top mark at 7-6. Defending indoor champion Isaac Jean-Paul (Lewis) is tied for 6th on the national list at 7-0 1/4.

Berry and Shippensburg's Jalen Ramsey, a five-time national qualifier, will represent the PSAC.
