ESU's all-time leader in rushing yards and yards from scrimmage, Healy is a three-time All-PSAC East selection and was named to the first team as a junior in 2015, when he was the only player in NCAA football (all divisions) with 750 yards both rushing and receiving.
Healy extended his ESU rushing record to 2,969 yards and can become the first 3,000-yard rusher in school history on Saturday vs. IUP (6:05 p.m.).
He ranks first among active PSAC players and second among all active NCAA Division II players in career yards from scrimmage (4,508), and second among PSAC players and fifth among DII players in career rushing yards entering this week.
Healy also entered ESU's career top 10 in touchdowns (28) with 17 career rushing TD and 11 receiving TD.
He had his first career game with three rushing TD and second game with three total TD, notching two rushing and one receiving TD in a win vs. Cheyney in 2014.
One of the most versatile players in DII football, Healy has 113 career receptions for 1,539 yards - including 46 catches for 561 yards as a sophomore, and 52 catches for 757 yards as a junior - after setting ESU's freshman rushing record with 1,129 yards in 2013.
He holds ESU's top three seasons in yards from scrimmage by a back with 1,333 yards in 2013, 1,378 yards in 2014 and 1,641 yards in 2015.
Healy is the top returner on an ESU offense that graduated quarterback
Matt Soltes (All-America, Harlon Hill finalist) and wide receivers
Jon Schnaars (All-America, DII's top receiver in 2015),
Gerard Wendowski (All-PSAC East 2nd team) and
Joe Welk from a unit that ranked second in DII in passing and 10th in total offense in 2015.
