East Stroudsburg University Athletics

Earned a share of the 1954 Pennsylvania State Teachers' College championship. Team won five of six games against conference opponents. The season was highlighted by a 14-13 win over archrival West Chester in which quarterback Warren Hoeffner ran a punt back 82 yards for the first TD and halfback Charlie Shaw streaked 80 yards for the second score. Denny Roth booted two extra points.
