School’s first AP Little All-America first team selection as defensive back in 1965. Two-way standout on 1964 and 1965 State Championship teams. Named to All-State and All-East teams. Gained 943 total yards and 11 touchdowns, second-leading scorer in the state, in 1965. Ran for two TD in State Game to cap undefeated season. Six TD and five interceptions in 1964.
