Long-time coach and administrator. He coached the men's track and field and cross country teams from 1969 to 1989. He served as athletic director three years. He produced three NCAA national champions and 22 All-Americans. His athletes won 39 PSAC titles. He started the cross country and indoor track and field programs. He also initiated the summer all-comer track and field meets.
