Olympic track and field competitor. She was a member of the 1952 United States Olympic women's track and field team which competed in Helsinki, Finland. She was the United States discus champion twice and shot put champion once. She was on the Women's World All-Star Softball Team. She competed in basketball and field hockey during college.
