Two-year soccer captain. He led the team to a victory over a previously-unbeaten West Chester team as a junior. He scored two hat tricks as a senior. He also scored two goals in a victory over Lafayette. He gained All-Regional honors at right inner on the 1951 All-America team. He also played on the varsity football team one year.
