One of school's most successful wrestlers. He compiled a record of 48-5-2 for a .891 winning percentage over three seasons. He was 13-0-1 as a junior. He won the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference 145-pound title in 1969. He was an All-America honorable mention selection.
