EAST STROUDSBURG – East Stroudsburg University president Dr. Robert J. Dillman and Director of Athletics Dr. Tom Gioglio will chair their respective Executive Committees within the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) for the 2010-11 academic year, the conference office announced Friday.

Dr. Dillman was selected by his peers to remain as Chair of the Board of Directors, a position he has held since the 2004-05 academic year. Joining Dr. Dillman on the Board of Directors Executive Committee is Vice Chair Dr. Angelo Armenti, Jr. of California University, Treasurer Dr. David Soltz of Bloomsburg University, and At-Large members Dr. Maravene Loeschke of Mansfield University and Dr. Thomas Gamble of Mercyhurst College.

The Board of Directors consists of the 16 chief executive officers of the PSAC's member institutions and oversees all aspects of the league's operations.

Dr. Gioglio was selected by the Athletics Administrators to chair their Executive Committee. Bruce Baumgartner, Edinboro University Athletic Director, was named Vice Chair while At-Large members include Dr. Karen Hjerpe, Associate Athletic Director at California University and China Jude, Athletic Director at Cheyney University. Frances Nee, Associate Athletic Director at IUP, will serve as Past Chair on the PSAC Athletics Administrators Executive Committee after fulfilling her term as Chair this past July 1.

The Athletics Administrators Executive Committee assists the conference commissioner with the day-to-day operations of the league, including oversight of the league's NCAA medical waiver process.

The PSAC also announced that two staff members, Will Adair and Carlin Chesick, will receive new job titles. Adair was promoted by the Board of Directors at their May meeting to Associate Commissioner, while Chesick was named Assistant Commissioner/Senior Woman Administrator for the league.

The PSAC's membership includes: Bloomsburg University, California University, Cheyney University, Clarion University, East Stroudsburg University, Edinboro University, Gannon University, IUP, Kutztown University, Lock Haven University, Mansfield University, Mercyhurst College, Millersville University, Shippensburg University, Slippery Rock University and West Chester University. Long Island University-CW Post Campus is an associate member of the PSAC in the sports of football and field hockey.
