John Paolini

John Paolini has been an athletic trainer at East Stroudsburg University since 2004, when he was a graduate assistant in ESU's athletic department while earning a Masters of Science in Exercise Science, and was appointed to an instructor position in athletic training in 2005.

His duties include but are not limited to providing athletic training services to the wrestling, field hockey, lacrosse, men's and women's track and field, women's volleyball, and baseball teams. He is also an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist.

Paolini is a native of North Tonawanda, New York, located between Buffalo and Niagara Falls, and graduated from Niagara County Community College in 1999 with an Associates of Science degree in Health and Physical Education. He majored in Athletic Training at SUNY Cortland and attained a Bachelors of Science in 2002.

After graduation, he interned in the Boston Red Sox minor league system, where he assisted the head athletic trainer and helped implement the organization's strength and conditioning program. He also worked at the University of Buffalo, where he provided athletic training services to the wrestling and men's and women's tennis programs, before coming to ESU.
