Radio: Live on WVPO 840 AM and redzonemedia.com. Chuck Seese, the 2009 PSAC Heaslip Media Award recipient, is in his 23rd season as the voice of the Warriors, with Bob Brittain in his 11th year providing the color commentary. Pre-game begins at 11:30 a.m.

THE MATCH-UP: East Stroudsburg University travels to Cheyney looking to end a seven-game losing streak, the program's longest since losing the final two games in 1997 and first five games in 1998. The Warriors are coming off a difficult 31-27 loss to Millersville last Saturday when the Marauders scored the game-winning TD with 17 seconds left - the third game they have led going into the 4th quarter in the last seven weeks.

CONGRATULATIONS, COACH: ESU head coach Denny Douds set the Division II record with his 394th game coached last Saturday, passing the total compiled by Jim Malosky of Minn.-Duluth from 1958-1997. Douds was recognized in a postgame ceremony and was introduced by offensive coordinator Mike Terwilliger, the quarterback for Douds' first four years (1974-77) and an assistant coach for the last 34.

ESU vs. CHEYNEY: The Warriors are 54-1 against Cheyney since the first meeting in 1954. The two schools have met every year since except for 1958 and 1959. In 1979, the Wolves won 7-3 on their way to the PSAC championship game where they lost to Lock Haven, 48-14. The Warriors won 25-14 in 1980 to start a streak of 31 straight victories, the longest in an uninterrupted series in Division II history.

WAGNER LEADS DII: R-Sr. QB Ray Wagner leads Division II in total offense (369.0) and is 2nd in passing (354.9) despite leaving last Saturday's game due to injury early in the 3rd quarter. Wagner threw for 172 yards and had 13 rushing yards for 185 yards of total offense. He has 300+ yards in 6 of 8 games this year.

THE HEAD COACH: Denny Douds (Slippery Rock '63), in his 38th season, holds the PSAC record for career wins with a 230-161-3 record. His Division II-record 394 games are 91 more than the second-most in PSASC history. Including 68 games as an assistant coach under Charlie Reese from 1966-73, he has coached in 462 of the 762 games - 60.6 percent - in program history. Douds is 2nd among active Division II coaches and 7th among all active coaches in career victories.  He has led the Warriors to 9 PSAC titles and 4 NCAA Playoff appearances.  There have been at least four head coaches at all 15 PSAC schools during Douds' tenure. For more, please see page 13 of the game notes.
