EAST STROUDSBURG – East Stroudsburg University's baseball program will hold a second annual Military Appreciation Day on Saturday when the Warriors host Mansfield in the second half of this weekend's PSAC East series at 1 p.m. at Mitterling Field.

The Warriors would like to invite all individuals and family members affiliated with military or uniformed service personnel to attend and share in this day on ESU's campus.

The day will include a large flag, donated by Pocono Raceway, which will be unveiled in the outfield during the national anthem. Representatives from the American Legion and ESU's ROTC will also participate in this special pre-game ceremony.

ESU will wear camouflage hats and jerseys, and there will be special presentations for the national anthem before the game and “God Bless America” in the middle of the fifth inning of the first game of the doubleheader.

The rest of the day will feature military-themed music during inning breaks and special mention of individuals affiliated with the ESU and Mansfield baseball programs who have served or are currently serving our country.
