FridayEAST STROUDSBURG – East Stroudsburg University's top track and field athletes will make their annual trip to Philadelphia as the Warriors compete in the 120th Annual Penn Relays, which will be held Thursday through Saturday at historic Franklin Field.
A total of 22 ESU athletes will compete during the three-day festival, which will include six relays and six individual participants.
Relays scheduled to compete are the women's 4x2, 4x4 and 4x8 and the men's 4x2, 4x4 and shuttle hurdles. The women's 4x8 will run at Penn for the first time since 1993, and the men's shuttle hurdles for the first time since 2005.

Five of ESU's eight provisional qualifiers for next month's NCAA Division II Championships will compete at Penn – O'Connor, D'Eliseo, Berry, junior
Danielle Smith (provisionally qualified in women's 400m) and junior
Damien Boham (men's 400m).
Smith headlines ESU's entries on the women's 4x2 and 4x4 relays, while Boham will anchor the men's 4x4 relay.
Seniors
Keith Parker-Washington and
Rachel Pierantozzi will make their fourth straight trips to the Penn Relays. Parker-Washington has competed in seven relays and Penn and will run on the men's 4x2 and 4x4, and Pierantozzi has run on the women's 4x2 in each of the last three years.
ESU women's head coach
Chris Merli, in his 17th season at ESU overall and eighth as women's head coach, will make his 50th consecutive trip to the Penn Relays as an athlete or coach.
