YORK - Freshman Kate Zimmerman was 10th and junior Sophie Coy placed 12th in the 100 breast, and junior Ashleigh Podhayny was 13th in the 100 back for East Stroudsburg University on the third day of the 2015 PSAC Swimming Championships on Saturday at the York YMCA.
 
Podhayny, who has scored in three events through three days, was 13th in both the prelims and finals in the 100 back. She swam 59.61 in the final after clocking 59.56 in the prelims.

She made the championship final and placed seventh in the 400 IM on Friday, breaking her own school record in 4:35.18. She was 10th in the 200 IM on Thursday.

Zimmerman was 10th in the 100 breast final in 1:07.06, just off her PR of 1:07.05. She qualified 10th for the final in 1:07.19. She has also scored in three events, placing 16th in both the 200 IM and 400 IM.

Coy was 12th in 1:07.98 after clocking 1:07.69 in the prelims.

ESU placed eighth in the 800 free relay with senior Danielle Davis, junior Cyndi Kline, senior Karoline Vavra and Podhayny teaming for a time of 7:56.62.
 
ESU remains ninth in the team standings through three days with 128 points, 27 clear of 10th-place Millersville. The Warriors have placed ninth the last two years, their best finishes since 2002.
 
The championships conclude on Sunday with the 100 free, 200 back, 200 breast, 1650 free and 400 free relay.
