EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University is listed No. 3 in this week's NCAA Division II Women's Lacrosse South Region rankings, moving up three spots as the regular season enters the final weekend.
ESU (15-2) has won 10 straight games and hosts the PSAC Final Four this weekend at Whitenight Field.
The Warriors, the No. 1 seed, takes on No. 4 seed IUP in the semifinals on Friday at 1 p.m., followed by No. 2 seed West Chester vs. No. 3 seed Mercyhurst at 4 p.m.
The championship game is set for Sunday at 1 p.m.
ESU secured its first PSAC regular season title last week with wins over West Chester (17-12) and IUP (16-8).
The Warriors are pursuing their first PSAC Tournament championship this weekend, along with their first NCAA Division II Tournament appearance.
The NCAA Tournament field will be announced on Sunday (May 7) at 8 p.m. on ncaa.com.
The top six teams in both the North and South regions will be selected for the tournament field.
