EAST STROUDSBURG - The East Stroudsburg University women's volleyball team went 0-4 in its second home tournament of the season last weekend at Koehler Fieldhouse.
The Warriors fell to C.W. Post in four games to open the tournament on Friday afternoon, and lost in three games to Augusta State, Dowling and Georgian Court.
Freshmen Lauren Hoffman, Kayla Mahaffay, Amy Casteel and Lindsey Lullo each played in all 13 games for ESU and were the team's statistical leaders.
Hoffman led the Warriors with 38 kills and 115 attacks, while Mahaffay had 34 kills and a team-high .330 hitting percentage. Both players were in double figures in kills against C.W. Post (Mahaffay 15, Hoffman 13), and Hoffman also added 10 kills vs. Dowling.
Casteel had at least 20 assists in every match and had a double-double with 27 assists and 11 digs vs. C.W. Post.
Lullo also had her best numbers against the Pioneers with 25 digs, and posted 20 digs against Augusta State. She has had at least 10 digs in each of the last seven matches.
ESU will be in action on Tuesday night at Shippensburg at 7 p.m., and travel to California (Pa.) for a PSAC Crossover weekend on Friday and Saturday.
