EDWARDSVILLE - The East Stroudsburg University women's tennis team wrapped up its fall schedule on Tuesday afternoon with a match at Wilkes University.

Wilkes improved to 12-2 this fall with a 9-0 victory over the Warriors. The Colonels won all three doubles matches 8-5 and also took all six singles matches.

Shana Morris and Katie D'Ambrosia teamed up at first doubles for ESU and played in the top two singles spots. Mandie Rutt (No. 3) and Sarah Deisher (No. 4) played second doubles, and Marissa Tanner (No. 5) and Amanda Wascavich (No. 6) played third doubles.

The Warriors will return to action in the spring after having a very successful fall season. D'Ambrosia and fellow freshman Jamie Ferrigno advanced to the semifinals at the PSAC Championships, and Ferrigno won five straight matches to move into the semifinals of the "B" singles bracket at the ITA East Regional.
