EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University, the No. 2 seed in the PSAC East, will host No. 3 Bloomsburg in the PSAC Women's Soccer Quarterfinals on Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Eiler-Martin Stadium.
The Warriors will finish the regular season on Saturday with a non-conference game at Edinboro that will have an impact on their standing in the Northeast Region rankings. ESU was No. 9 last week, with the top six teams in the region earning bids to the NCAA Tournament.
ESU will be making its sixth appearance in the PSAC tournament in the last 14 years, and just the second since 1998. The Warriors lost 3-1 vs. Kutztown in the first round in 2005, and advanced to the championship game in 1998. The team claimed PSAC championships in 1994 and 1997, and qualified for four of the first five PSAC women's soccer tournaments (1994, 1996, 1997, 1998).
Tickets for Tuesday's game will be available at the gate beginning at 3 p.m. In accordance with PSAC policy, ticket prices are $7 for adults and $2 for students. Students of the 14 PSAC institutions will be admitted for free with a student ID.
