MILLERSVILLE - The East Stroudsburg University women's soccer team improved to 3-1 in the PSAC East with a 2-0 shutout on Wednesday night at Millersville.

Freshman midfielder Lindsay Foder had a hand in both goals for the Warriors, setting up a goal by junior forward Lynda Hicks with just over 10 minutes left in the first half, and then knocking in an insurance goal with 25 minutes remaining to give ESU a 2-0 advantage.

Junior goalkeeper Janine Turcio improved to 3-0 as a starter with her first career shutout. Turcio made three saves as ESU outshot Millersville 16-7. Karrine Riggins had nine saves in goal for the Marauders.

ESU, which was No. 10 in last week's NSCAA Northeast Region rankings, will take on Clarion in non-conference action on Friday at 4:30 p.m. at Eiler-Martin Stadium.
