EAST STROUDSBURG - Freshman Megan Keiser scored her first career goal with 1:58 left to lift East Stroudsburg University to a 3-2 win over Shippensburg in PSAC East women's soccer action on Saturday night at Eiler-Martin Stadium.
Sophomore Lindsay Foder scored two first-half goals for the Warriors (6-4-2, 3-3-1), the first unassisted 7:57 into the game and the second on an assist from senior Jennifer Buckley with 10 minutes left until halftime. ESU led 2-1 at the break, with Shippensburg's goal coming from Gayle Kuntzman in the 20th minute.
Kuntzman knotted the score at 2-2 with 5:12 remaining, but Keiser came through as she knocked in a rebound opportunity after Buckley had her initial shot saved by Ship goalkeeper Beth Long.
Long had 11 saves in the match and had a career-high 15 saves in a 3-0 win over the Warriors in September. Senior Janine Turcio made four saves for ESU, which won its third straight PSAC East contest and moves to fourth in the conference standings, passing Shippensburg (9-6, 3-5).
The Warriors are back in action on Monday with a trip to Holy Family.
