HUMMELSTOWN - Junior Briana Malachowski shot an 85 on Sunday after an opening round of 89 to finish 14th for East Stroudsburg University in the first-ever PSAC women's golf championship this weekend at the Hershey Links Golf Club.

Malachowski was the Warriors' top finisher in their three invitationals this fall, the first season of women's golf at ESU. She was followed by sophomores Megan Lopretto, Stephanie Smith, Becky Benner and Kaley Rode.

Freshman Kelly Barrieres, Lauren Riggs and Sara Marie Walsh were also members of the Warriors' program this fall. The squad will also compete in several events next spring under the guidance of head coach Dustin McCormick.
