Box Score

EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University led 2-0 at halftime, but Kutztown rallied for a pair of second half goals and Kelley Healey had the game-winner in overtime for a 3-2 win in PSAC East field hockey on Saturday at Whitenight Field.

Sophomore Monica Gombita scored both goals for the Warriors in a span of five minutes, but Lyndsay Butler found the cage twice in the second half for the Golden Bears and tied the game with 15:38 remaining.

Healey's game-winner came 6:19 into the first overtime period as Kutztown avenged a 3-2 overtime loss to ESU on Sept. 3. Gombita scored the winning goal in that game as the Warriors came back from two goals down in the final eight minutes.

Senior Carolyn Kisling made nine saves in goal for the Warriors.

ESU wore pink jerseys during the game as part of the "Think Pink" initiative to raise awareness for breast cancer research. The women's soccer team will wear pink t-shirts during warm-ups before their game at 11 a.m. on Sunday.

ESU faces defending national champion Bloomsburg on the road on Wednesday at 4 p.m. Bloomsburg head coach Jan Hutchinson '71, who owns the NCAA all-division record for wins in her career as a field hockey and softball coach, was one of six individuals inducted into the ESU Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday morning.
