LOCK HAVEN - Junior Christine Swiker and sophomore Sarah Roscioli both won two events as East Stroudsburg University finished first in six of the nine individual events and both relays to take a 104-101 victory over Lock Haven in dual competition on Saturday.

Swiker won the 400 IM (4:49.07) and 100 fly (1:02.39) in back-to-back events and Roscioli squeezed out a close win in the 200 free (2:03.78) and won more comfortably in the 100 breast (1:12.24).

ESU opened with a win in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:47.50 from the team of freshman Lindsay DuAime, junior Heather Van O'Linda, Swiker and Roscioli.

Roscioli's margin of victory of 0.23 over Kasey Campbell in the 200 free gave ESU a 28-26 lead through three events and senior Sally Kaminski won the 50 free with a time of 25.60 seconds in the next event. Swiker took the 400 IM and 100 fly to give the Warriors four straight individual wins to build their lead.

After Kaminski finished second in the 100 free, sophomore Amy Rowland took the 100 back in 1:06.97 as ESU went back ahead 77-74 going into the final three events. The Bald Eagles swept the top three spots in the 500 free and recaptured the lead (90-80) before a very competitive 100 breaststroke.

Roscioli won the event and Van O'Linda was third with nearly a dead heat in the second through fourth spots to help the Warriors close the margin to 95-93. The 200 free relay team of DuAime, freshman Chia Scoppetta, Rowland and Kaminski cruised to a win of more than six seconds to give ESU the dual victory.
