WEST CHESTER - Senior forward Monika Fogelsanger scored 19 points, tied her career-high with 13 rebounds and had a career-best five steals, but East Stroudsburg University couldn't overcome 26 turnovers in a 75-60 loss at West Chester on Saturday.
Dana Weems (14 points, 14 rebounds) and Janelle Garber (12-10) both had double-doubles for West Chester, which improved to 6-2 in the PSAC East.
Fogelsanger was 11-for-11 at the foul line and is shooting 86 percent from the line this season. Junior guard Jackie Yandrisevits had 12 points and seven rebounds for ESU (9-13, 3-5).
The Golden Rams built a 32-26 halftime lead and shot 53 percent in the second half to pull away.
The game featured 34 total fouls - nine in the first and 25 in the second half, including 20 in the final 12 minutes. ESU was 13-of-17 at the line, led by Fogelsanger's effort, while West Chester was just 10-of-21 at the line.
The Warriors tied their season-high with 18 steals off 23 West Chester turnovers, but the Golden Rams came up with 17 steals of their own and held an 18-11 advantage in points off turnovers and 15-7 in second chance points.
ESU will play its third straight game away from Koehler Fieldhouse with a trip to Bloomsburg on Wednesday before returning home to host Millersville next Saturday at 1 p.m.
