MILLERSVILLE - Elizabeth Weekly scored five goals to lead Millersville to a 12-2 win over East Stroudsburg University on Wednesday afternoon.
Freshman Molly O'Hara scored ESU's first goal 13 minutes into the game to cut the deficit to 2-1, but the Marauders responded with a goal by Kelsey Schmoltze 15 seconds later and added three late goals to close the first half with a 6-1 lead.
Millersville (3-3, 2-3) scored the first four goals of the second half, while senior Tanya Welsh found the net for ESU (6-2) to break the run midway through the final period.
Junior goalkeeper Kirstin Mayberry made 22 saves to tie her career-high but faced 48 shots in the contest.
The Warriors will look to return to the win column on Saturday when they travel to Shippensburg for a 1 p.m. start.
