EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University won 20 events, 10 men's and 10 women's, and senior Iuri Pinto broke the school record in the mile to lead the Warriors at the third annual All-American Meet at Eiler-Martin Stadium on Saturday.
Five stadium records were broken, including three by ESU athletes, along with both javelin records in the meet's marquee event.
Sophomore Trina Carito broke the stadium women's triple jump record with a distance of 37-6 3/4 to win the event. Sophomore Chris Reddick won the 400m with a time of 48.45 seconds, and ran on the 4x100m relay team that broke the stadium record set by Lafayette three weeks ago.
Asher Ashfield, Greg Pammer, Reddick and Andrew McCloskey clocked a time of 41.92 seconds, edging the Leopards' quartet that finished in 42.21 seconds at the ESU-Lafayette Quad Meet on March 29.
Barry Krammes, a two-time All-American during his career at ESU who has finished fifth in the javelin at the last two USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, broke his own stadium mark with a throw of 235-0 1/2.
Sophomore Kenny Cardullo placed fifth in the event with an NCAA Division II provisional qualifying distance of 202-8 3/4, 10 feet better than his previous season best this year.
Anna Raynor, throwing unattached after her career at UNC Wilmington, shattered the women's javelin record with a mark of 166-6 3/4.
Junior Katherine Doyle won the 100m and 200m dash as the only double winner for the ESU women. Freshmen Jasmine Johnson (400m), Brittney Mackey (100m hurdles) and Emily Hollick (400m hurdles) also posted winning times on the track.
The Warriors won both of the women's relays. Doyle, Johnson, Amilee Schillinger and Nashanti Iglesias ran on the 4x100 team, and Mackey, Schillinger, Carito and Doyle were members of the 4x400 squad.
Sophomore Kayla Doran won the javelin and freshman Lynn Mayer captured the high jump to round out the top performances on the women's side.
Ashfield won the 100m dash and sophomore Andrew McCloskey won the 200m to go with Reddick's victory in the 400m for the ESU men. In the distance events, sophomore Ryan Doyle won the 1500m and freshman Chris Zadroga had the top time at 3000m.
Pinto ran a time of 4:10.05 in the mile to reach another NCAA Division II provisional qualifying mark for the outdoor national championships in Los Angeles in May.
Three sophomores were first for the Warriors men in the field events - Paul Wagner in the hammer, Drew Miller in the triple jump and Matt Gallup in the pole vault.
ESU will send a contingent of athletes to the Penn Relays this weekend in Philadelphia, while the rest of the squad will travel to Bethlehem for the Lehigh Games on Saturday.
