CHEYNEY - East Stroudsburg University won every match in straight sets to take a 9-0 win over Cheyney in PSAC East women's tennis on Tuesday afternoon.
The Warriors dropped just two games to claim their first conference victory of the season. Shana Morris and Sarah Deisher (No. 1), Mandie Rutt and Katie D'Ambrosia (No. 2) and Jamie Ferrigno and Marissa Tanner (No. 3) all won 8-0 in their doubles for ESU.
Morris, D'Ambrosia and Rutt each took straight set decisions at first through third singles, while Ferrigno, Deisher and Liz Farnsworth won 8-0 in the final three spots.
The Warriors return to the court on Saturday when they host West Chester at 1 p.m. at Stroudsburg High School.
