EAST STROUDSBURG - Senior Janine Turcio made fives saves in goal for the Warriors, but No. 3 West Chester prevailed with a 2-0 victory on Saturday afternoon at Eiler-Martin Stadium.

Sophomore Sarah Oswald found the back of the net at the 24:27 mark in the first period, and senior Brittany Yetter scored an unassisted goal with 15 minutes remaining to provide the scoring for West Chester (5-0, 3-0). ESU (2-2-1, 0-2-1) was unable to dent the scoreboard despite being outshot just 11-9 in the contest as senior Hilary Smart made four saves to earn the shutout.

The Warriors continue their PSAC East schedule on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at Bloomsburg.
