BLOOMSBURG - Ashley Brucker scored the game's only goal in the first half and Francis Nicoletti made eight saves to lead Bloomsburg to a 1-0 win over East Stroudsburg University in PSAC East women's soccer on Wednesday.

ESU falls to 0-3-1 in the PSAC East despite holding an advantage in shots in three of its four matches this season, including a 17-9 margin against the Huskies (5-1, 3-1).

Nicoletti was up to the task, making six saves in the first half and two in the second, and Brucker provided the offense with an unassisted goal 27:06 into the game. Senior Janine Turcio made five saves for the Warriors.

ESU (2-3-1 overall) will look to break its three-game slide with a non-conference game at California on Saturday.
