EAST STROUDSBURG - Senior Lynda Hicks scored once in each half to give East Stroudsburg University a 2-0 win over Millersville for its first PSAC East women's soccer victory of the season on Wednesday night.

Hicks scored her first goal with 4:30 left in the first half on a play set up by freshman Linda Martine and sophomore Lindsay Foder.

She also found the net from 30 yards out with 8:37 remaining for her seventh goal of the season and the 27th of her career. Hicks has three multi-goal games at ESU (3-3-2, 1-3-1), including two hat tricks.

Senior Janine Turcio made three saves for her third shutout of the season. Millersville (4-5, 1-3) goalkeeper Jamie Lancaster had 12 saves as ESU held a 24-5 advantage in shots.

The Warriors travel to Adelphi for a 2 p.m. start on Saturday.
