EAST STROUDSBURG – Junior forward
Caitlin Brownley scored two goals, giving her 16 goals on the season, and No. 3 East Stroudsburg University improved to 11-2 (4-1 PSAC East) with a 5-0 win over C.W. Post in conference field hockey on Sunday afternoon at Whitenight Field.
Brownley entered the week as the top scorer in Division II with 14 goals in 12 games and found the cage twice in ESU's only game this week. Her goals finished a run of four goals in exactly 6:00 late in the first half.
Junior forward
Jessica Frantz added a goal 5:09 into the second half, assisted by Brownley, and also had two assists. Brownley and Frantz were tied for third in Division II with six assists this season, and Frantz's goal was her ninth of the year.

Angela Frantz opened the scoring 21:28 into the game with her first goal of the season on an assist from junior midfielder
Joanna Reckley. The Warriors' lead escalated quickly over the next two minutes, as junior forward
Brittany Kocis scored 1:03 later on an assist from
Jessica Frantz and Brownley had an unassisted goal in the next 45 seconds.
Brownley's second goal was assisted by
Jessica Frantz at the 27:28 mark in the first half. Her 16 goals are already tied for fifth in school history with seven games remaining in the regular season, and she ranks fourth in the ESU record book with 39 points. She broke into the career top 10 in goals last week and has 27 career goals through Sunday.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Maureen Ordnung played the first 68:05 for the Warriors and made five saves, with junior
Jennifer Mullen playing the final 1:55. Cortney Colern made eight saves for C.W. Post (4-7, 1-4) and each team posted a defensive save.
The Warriors' next three games are away from home, beginning with a trip to Millersville for a 4 p.m. start on Wednesday.
