NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – Mandy Jaeb and Karli Mast combined for 33 points to lead Tiffin to a 57-44 win over East Stroudsburg University in the consolation game of the Courtyard by Marriott Classic at Merrimack College on Saturday afternoon.
Jaeb had a game-high 17 points and Mast scored 14 of her 16 points in the second half for Tiffin (2-1), which fell to tournament host Merrimack 59-56 in their first round game on Friday night. Jordan Jenkins came off the bench to provide nine points, seven rebounds and six assists for the Dragons.

DeAnna Rayam scored 13 points for the second straight game for the Warriors (0-2) and was named to the All-Tournament team. Rayam added seven rebounds and sophomore forward
Jennifer Scherer had four points and a career-high 10 boards. Freshman guard

Mel Villano (seven points, four steals) also contributed to the scoring column for the Warriors.
ESU led 26-25 at halftime, with Rayam scoring 10 points, but Mast hit two jumpers and a three-pointer early in the second half to put the Dragons ahead by six. The Warriors kept it close throughout the period and pulled within five for the final time on a three-pointer by Villano with 3:27 to play, but Mast made two free throws and Jenkins hit a three-pointer with 1:40 left to put the game away.
The Warriors trailed 7-6 early in the game before going on a 12-0 run and holding Tiffin scoreless for more than 10 minutes between the 16 and six-minute marks of the first half.
Rayam had eight points in the run, starting with two free throws and a jumper, and ESU broke a five-minute scoreless drought with jumpers by sophomore guard

Kristin D'Arienzo. Rayam hit two more from the line and made a layup before Jaeb stopped the stretch with a basket with just over five minutes left to make the score 18-9.
ESU led 26-18 with 1:34 on the clock, but Tiffin closed the half with seven straight points – two layups by Jaeb and a three by Jennifer Johnston – to pull within one at intermission.
Tiffin shot 35 percent for the game, compared to 28 percent for ESU, which was just 1-for-16 from the three-point line after going 8-for-22 in a 66-49 loss to No. 22 Tampa on Friday.
The Warriors are back in action on Tuesday, December 1 at 6 p.m. in the first game of a doubleheader against USP after opening the season with two games in a 20-hour span.
