SALEM, W.V. – The East Stroudsburg University women's basketball team wrapped up its appearance at the Joe Manchin Classic at Salem International with a 67-46 loss to Urbana (Ohio) on Sunday afternoon at the West Virginia National Guard Armory.
Senior forward Deanna Rayam had 14 points and seven rebounds for ESU (1-6) one day after recording her first career double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds against Central State. Rayam is averaging 14.9 points per game and has scored at least 13 points in all seven games so far this season.

Kelly Sorber had six points and four rebounds. Sophomore forward
Jennifer Scherer contributed five points, five rebounds and four steals.
Unique Lane had 17 points and eight rebounds and Jalyssa Jackson posted 11 points, eight rebounds and four assists for Urbana, which has won five straight games since an 0-5 start to the 2009-10 season.
The Warriors are back in action next Saturday and Sunday at the ECAC Holiday Classic hosted by Caldwell College. ESU's men's team will also play two games in the holiday tournament before the Christmas break.
