GROVE CITY – Senior Christine Swiker won the 400 IM for the fourth straight meet, placed third in the 200 IM and fourth in the 200 fly to pace East Stroudsburg University at the 13th Annual Longnecker Invitational at Grove City College on Friday and Saturday.

Swiker's time of 4:46.75 in the 400 IM was a season-best by almost four seconds and was nearly three seconds faster than the rest of the field, which featured nine schools. She also turned in a performance of 2:14.66 in the 200 IM and 2:16.32 in the 200 fly.

Junior Sarah Roscioli placed fifth in the 200 breast (2:39.78) and sixth in the 100 breast (1:11.52) to lead the rest of the Warriors' top 10 performances. Freshmen Rose Mascoli (4th, 19:03.27) and Erin Kirchner (6th, 20:01.89) were both in the top 10 in the 1650 free, freshman Kimberly Lawson was eight in the 200 fly (2:22.44) and ninth in the 100 fly (1:03.47), freshman Ana Osowski placed ninth in the 500 free (5:34.18) while Mascoli was 10th (5:36.67), and freshman Tamara Bereznay backed up Swiker's effort by finishing ninth in the 400 IM (5:16.12).

Lawson was 12th in a very competitive field in the 50 free (25.79), senior Heather Van O'Linda was 21st and junior Amy Rowland was 22nd. Freshman Tara Robinson had a time of 56.69 to place 13th in the 100 free.

The Warriors were fourth in the 200 free relay, their best finish of the six relays contested. Rowland, Van O'Linda, Swiker and Lawson clocked a time of 1:41.99.

ESU is away from action until the week after New Year's, when the Warriors will travel to Key West, Florida for their winter training trip.
