EAST STROUDSBURG - Seniors Keri Cahill and Jackie Yandrisevits combined for 25 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists and led East Stroudsburg University to a 64-47 win over Mansfield in the Warriors' final home game of the 2008-09 season on Wednesday night at Koehler Fieldhouse.

Yandrisevits scored 13 of her 17 points in the second half and had nine rebounds, three steals and two blocks. She entered the week as the only player in the PSAC ranked in the top 10 in all four categories, and also had four assists to go over 200 for her career.

Cahill's six assists moved her into the Warriors' all-time top 10. She came in needing one assist to break into the top 10 and moved into ninth place, passing ESU Hall of Fame members Claudine Simard and Gaye Chapman with 228 career assists. She also had eight points and six rebounds while playing in her 102nd career game.

ESU (12-12, 5-6) has won three straight games and pulled within one game of the final playoff spot in the PSAC East after Cheyney (11-10, 6-5) fell to Millersville on Wednesday night. ESU travels to Cheyney on Saturday to begin a three-game stretch on the road to end the regular season.

The Warriors held a 13-11 lead through the first seven minutes before they threatened to turn the game into a blowout, shooting 56 percent in the opening half and finishing at 50 percent, their second-highest mark of the season.

ESU went on a 9-2 run over the next four minutes, then added an 8-0 spurt a couple minutes later to go ahead 30-17. A layup by Yandrisevits with 57 seconds left, just her second field goal of the first half, gave the Warriors a 34-19 lead at intermission.

Mansfield scored the first six points of the second half to close the margin to nine, but ESU reestablished control with a 6-0 run out of a timeout and led by at least a dozen points the rest of the way.

Mallory Moore led the Mounties with 14 points and 14 rebounds and Clarissa Correll added 11 points, but Mansfield shot just 29 percent from the field and turned the ball over 25 times to give ESU a significant advantage (27-15) in points off turnovers for the second straight game.

Yandrisevits scored in double figures for the 37th consecutive game, and had at least 10 points in 49 of her 57 career games at Koehler Fieldhouse, which began with a 22-point game against Goldey-Beacom on November 22, 2005. Since then, she has scored 1,723 points in her career at ESU, 10 away from the all-time record of 1,733 held by Claudine Simard.
