LAKEWOOD, N.J. - Freshman Amanda Kaufman won 10-5 at first singles and 8-2 with senior Sarah Deisher at first doubles to lead the East Stroudsburg University women's tennis team to a 9-0 win at Georgian Court on Saturday.
Junior Marissa Tanner and freshman Angela Teri won 8-0 at second doubles for the Warriors, and the third doubles spot was not contested. Sophomores Katie D'Ambrosia and Jamie Ferrigno entered the singles lineup at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots and Deisher and Tanner also won their singles matches.
ESU's match on Sunday vs. Adelphi has been canceled, so the Warriors will be back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Bloomsburg to take on PSAC opponent Millersville.
