HILTON HEAD, S.C. - East Stroudsburg University won all six singles matches on its way to an 8-1 win over Augustana (Ill.) in women's tennis on Monday at Hilton Head, S.C. The Augustana men beat the Warriors 7-2.

Freshman Amanda Kaufman won 6-1, 6-2 at first singles to lead the Warriors, who won every singles match-up in straight sets. Sophomores Katie D'Ambrosia (No. 2 singles) and Jamie Ferrigno (No. 3) teamed up for an 8-5 win at first doubles to improve to 24-10 during their careers at ESU.

Senior Sarah Deisher was a 6-0, 6-3 winner at No. 4 singles, junior Marissa Tanner won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 5 and freshman Angela Teri picked up a 7-6, 6-3 victory at No. 6. Tanner and Teri also won their match at third doubles.

Sophomores Will Norris and Ryan Baxter won their singles matches for the ESU men. Norris beat Chris Mullin 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 and Baxter posted a 6-2, 6-2 win over Nik Lehnert at No. 4. Mullin and Adam DeSimone edged Norris and Baxter, 8-4, at first doubles.

The Warriors will continue their spring break action on Tuesday against Adrian (Mich.).
