HILTON HEAD, S.C. - Junior Briana Malachowski was the medalist with a two-day score of 163 as East Stroudsburg University dropped a dual with West Chester last week at the Myrtlewood Golf Club in Hilton Head, S.C.

Malachowski followed her opening round 87 with a 76 on the second day to earn medalist honors at the Pine Hills course, a par-72 layout that played at 5,860 yards.

West Chester won the dual 740-848, with the top four scores counting towards the team total on both days.

Sophomore Stephanie Smith (99-107) was ESU's second finisher, and sophomore Becky Benner and freshmen Lauren Riggs and Kelly Barrieres also competed for the Warriors.

ESU is back in action on March 28-29 at the Monmouth Invitational at Eagle Ridge Golf Club.
