PHILADELPHIA - Junior Alyson Stark had 16 kills and freshman Cassie Willman recorded 39 assists, four aces and nine digs in her first collegiate match to lead East Stroudsburg University to a 3-0 win at Philadelphia University to open the 2009 women's volleyball season on Thursday night.

Junior Lindsey Lullo contributed 14 digs and freshman Katie O'Neill added 11 for the Warriors, who had 55 digs and limited the Rams to a .038 hitting percentage on 106 attacks.

Freshmen Kristina Perri and Megan Plumb both had seven kills and Willman directed the ESU attack to a .179 percentage. The Warriors won by game scores of 25-22, 25-22, 25-15.

ESU travels to Shepherdstown (W.V.) for a tournament this weekend and will play host Shepherd on Friday night.
