EAST STROUDSBURG – Freshman Kimberly Lawson won the 200 free and East Stroudsburg University placed second in eight other events as C.W. Post won its swimming dual with the Warriors, 154-106, on Wednesday night at Koehler Fieldhouse.

Lawson took the 200 free in 2:03.07, was second in the 100 free (56.52) and third in the 100 fly (1:04.53). She was also the anchor on the 200 free relay team along with freshman Tara Robinson, senior Heather Van O'Linda and junior Sarah Roscioli that finished second in 1:43.76.

Senior Christine Swiker had a trio of runner-up finishes in the 200 fly (2:15.98), 500 free (5:28.92) and the 200 IM (2:19.70) for the Warriors, who were swimming in competitive action for the first time since December 5 at Grove City College after taking their winter training trip to Florida last week.

Roscioli was second in the 100 breast and 50 free and finished third in the 200 breast. Freshman Rose Mascoli turned in a second-place finish in the 1000 free.

ESU hosts Ramapo and the College of St. Elizabeth in a tri-meet on Saturday at Koehler Fieldhouse.
